How to update an event listed here.
You can update the details for an upcoming event or you can use a past event as a "template" for a new upcoming event.
To update an upcoming event:
- Go to the upcoming events page
- Locate the event and click on its link
- On the details page you will see a button near the bottom labelled "Edit and resubmit this event". Click it. Most (not all) of the event details will be copied into a new event submission form.
- Fill in the missing details (such as date) and make any changes you need.
- Submit the event.
- When you edit and submit the details for an upcoming event, it is used to replace the original submission, after approval.
To use the details from a past event for a new event:
- Go to the past events page
- Locate the event and click on its link
- On the details page you will see a button near the bottom labelled "Edit and resubmit this event". Click it. Most (not all) of the event details will be copied into a new event submission form.
- Fill in the missing details (such as a new date) and make any changes you need.
- Submit the event.
- When you edit and submit the details for a past event, it is used to create a new upcoming event, after approval.
