Description: For the last 49 years the Central Alberta Amateur Radio Club has hosted an annual picnic and camp out for amateur radio operators from across western Canada that provides an opportunity for provincial amateur radio groups to meet and coordinate provincial and inter provincial communications. C.A.A.R.C. hosts meetings that are attended by amateur radio operators from Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and occasionally other areas of North America that coordinate emergency communications throughout Alberta.
