CENTOR Amatuer Radio Club Basic Course

TTC Bus Route 25 Don Mills will take you to the bus stop for William Morgan Drive off Overlea Blvd. Follow William Morgan Drive (a short distance) to the Leaside Retirement Residence
Opening times: 7 to 9 pm - once per week on Wednesdays.
Cost: $50 for the course (cash or cheque) plus students are required to obtain Canadian Amateur Radio Basic Qualification Study Guide - Approx $50
Talk-in frequency: NA
Description: The object of this 12-week course is to prepare you to pass the examination that is set by Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada for the Basic Qualification. By passing the exam you will be able to obtain an amateur radio license and become a full member of the amateur radio society. It is in CENTOR’s (Central Toronto Amateur Radio Club) interests that you pass the course and get licensed so the emphasis of the course will be assisting class members in obtaining that goal.
