There are several ways, but the best is to make a "free link" to the new page from a page you are editing.

The advantage of this method is that your new page will not be an "orphan", it will have a link from another page.

Here are the steps:

  1. Start to edit a page
  2. Somewhere on the page create a "free link". For example, if you wanted to link to a new page called "Other ways", then simply type: ... there are also [[other ways]] to make a new page ... The double square brackets [[ ... ]] enclose the link.
  3. When you save the current page your link will appear on it, followed by a small question mark.
  4. Click on the question mark and it will create your new page, ready for editing.
