Thanks Akismet!

This blog was protected from thousands of pieces of SPAM (the last count was almost 160,000) by Akismet for many years. However, once WP Cerber implemented SPAM detection, Akismet has seen nothing, because WP Cerber  acts before Akismet has a chance to do its job. Both plug-ins are great, but there is no need for Akismet if WP-Cerber is already clobbering all the bad stuff. So I removed Akismet today and just wanted to say “Thanks!” for the many years of protection.
